Questions, questions...

I've been looking through George Wyllie's personal archive recently, which includes a series of handmade, hand drawn books he made for all his projects, including the Paper Boat, which he started planning in 1989.
There's also a cracker dating back to the same year, called 'Glasgow is Good' in which he proposed erecting a halo over Glasgow's City Chambers to celebrate the city's reign as European Capital of Culture in 1990. This heavenly idea was never realised.
This photo shows a page from George's Paper Boat book. The question mark, as always, is at the centre.
George's Straw Locomotive (1987) and the Paper Boat inspired a generation of artists to 'think big' as artist Roddie Buchanan told me last year.
