The Viking Orion

Sailing away from Lyttleton port at 6 pm today.
The Viking Orion is one of many cruise ships that are cruising around New Zealand this summer.
Most of them call into Lyttleton for a day and the passengers come ashore.

I’ve read that tomorrow an interesting ship called Le Commandant Charcot will be in. Google tells me it’s the worlds only luxury icebreaker cruise ship. Built in  2021 it takes 245 guests,is a hybrid electric ship and is made for cruising in Antartica.
