Duniway Elementary School...

Named after Abigail Scott Duniway, an Oregon Pioneer who spent her adult years working for Women's Suffrage as she raised her family and worked. I taught at Duniway for many years, and always felt proud to be working at this particular school. I had the pleasure of reading her biography to my third grade students. Today as I passed by on my bicycle, I noticed the neighborhood is working to preserve this historic elementary school building.
