Tea Party

Mila (4, and sitting on the left), lives across the street from me, and today I was her guest at her Pre-school's Tea Party. It was great to spend some one-on-one time with her. After tea and cookies, we played catch with a basketball (the school is housed in the Linnton Community Center and the Tea was in its gymnasium) and practiced dribbling, too. A good deal of running around was a natural side effect of that much sugar.
Adults were served tea in beautiful china tea cups while the kids had juice in styrofoam.  See Extra. The School and the Center have such a nice vibe, I began thinking of volunteering there - until I joined the Hwy 30 traffic back to the St Johns Bridge and home. Those 3 miles and that half hour about talked me out of it, though.
