Colder than it looks!

Our first visit into the City this year and what a waste of time it was.  Met our friends in the coldest cafe in the city.  

More shops had closed down, there were few people around and the only market place chatter was from a group of kids and a busker.  We went into the market hall (they had the heaters on!) for some shoes they stock there but the place I normally visit had gone.     Very sad to see it all slipping away.  Cynical perhaps but if you want coffee and alcohol you'll be pleased you called in and that's about it.  What a tragic place Durham is slowly becoming.
