Dated

These boots are made for walking…… but not, I would think, for hiking. They are centre stage in the window of a local hairdresser. Mary Quant springs to mind when I see them.

It’s been a ‘trying to keep warm’ kind of day.  A trip to the Post Office and the local shops followed by a lot of chopping and steaming of vegetables have filled my morning. Daughter #1 is in town briefly and she visited to collect wool. She is taking on the mantle of knitting as a hobby for the days when sea swimming in Cullen just doesn’t bear thinking about.

Another day is slipping past but not before I meet my neighbours for a TGIF drink in the local hostelry.
