Broadway/Marshall/Arguello

I don't know what was going on with the railroad crossing signals this evening but we'd been standing waiting for what felt like forever, the barriers down, car and pedestrian traffic stopped,  all the lights and signals sounding and no train.  Everyone on the corner discussing maybe something had malfunctioned.  Finally train does materialize. This happened earlier in the evening too, extras, and I thought I was going to be late for a meeting. 

There are a lot of updates going on with Caltrain, the transition from these noisy and dirty diesel trains to an electric system is coming very soon.  I am now thinking that's maybe why the kid at Menlo Park station was filming the trains earlier this week, before they're decommissioned.
