For Lily

Last night I went to my first ever flower arranging class. The set of classes were a Christmas gift. I went with a heavy heart as, a few hours previously, my wee bunny Lily had died in my arms, as we were about to go in to our vets consulting room.
She hadn’t been well over the past week and had been diagnosed on Monday with a tumour in her tummy. Yesterday’s visit to the vets, one of three this week, had been to determine if she was now back to feeding herself and more mobile - which she had been yesterday morning. What a difference a few hours can make.
She was a lovely sweet girl who had had over eight years with us. She had ‘mothered’ other rabbits who had sadly passed before her at a younger age. These flowers are in her memory.
