Matanzas Inlet
So many sea birds! What a variety, all in one flock. Black Skimmers, Royal Terns, all kinds of gulls, sanderlings, plovers. It was a feast for the eye. But every so often someone would set their dog lose and let them fly at the flock. Chaos
Debra and Paula in the extra, enjoying our walk. We started on the Matanzas River side and walked a loop out to the ocean and back. Lots of hurricane damage this year, so had to sneak around barriers to get back across to the river side. Destroyed boardwalks and ramps. No worries, we didn't trespass on what is left of the dunes.
Rip currents kept us out of the water but otherwise a perfect day.
