Cattleya orchid with jumping spider

These beautiful pinky-mauve orchids are blooming in pots all over the garden. From a single plant that came with the house in which we have been living for 28 years, the Resident Gardener has divided and nurtured over and over and now they are legion. A bonus is that they're super low maintenance. 

The little jumping spider has been there all day and was happy enough to pose this evening in the softer light.
