We made the best of
a sunny morning - pastels 
and pencil with chat!

I was out the door with my plein air kit at 9 AM. The sunshine and blue sky were waiting for me. 

L and P met me at the wash at 9:30. It was the first time in almost 3 years that we'd painted together. 

They set up to work in pastel and I plunked myself down in my folding chair to focus on my mesquite tree. 

Time passes so quickly when I am in the company of friends. We had visits while there. Dog walkers came along and a friend from our painting group stopped too. Before I knew it, it was almost 1 PM and I needed to head home. My piece didn't get past a drawing today.
