The Knife Angel

Rob and I popped to Gloucester Cathedral today to see The Knife Angel, a sculpture made from approximately 100,000 knives recovered from the streets and delivering an anti-violence message. It was made by the British Ironwork Centre and is currently touring Britain. It is a striking work, standing outside the Cathedral and lit by a light that changes colours. (more in extras)

Once there we couldn't resist taking some shots of the Cloisters, (in extras) used in the Harry Potter films and also stopped off in the cafe to have some coffee and mint tiffin.
