Below Silver How

A first morning with some sunshine.  Before breakfast I had time to walk past Allan Bank and up the track to Silver How as the sun rose in the distance.  I love the elements that built up this scene.

After breakfast we headed for Keswick, enjoying a walk along the edge of Derwent Water, before a bit of retail therapy.  While walking in Strandshag Bay the crepuscular rays chasing across the jaws of Borrowdale were impressive (see extra).  We're now getting ready for a blip meet over a meal.
