Migration

I am really glad that B & I went for a walk after work today, or I would have missed this flock of cranes flying northeast, towards their breeding grounds in Scandinavia. A sure sign that spring is on its way.

They were the highlight of this otherwise difficult day. I only got about three hours of sleep last night and had a bad headache this morning; then the Munni-cat ripped a hole in my favourite sweater - and finally I found a damp and mouldy spot on the wall in my office, just underneath the newly installed roof windows. I just hope this won’t turn out to be a major problem.

So, thank goodness for sunshine and cranes.
