The DamBusters return! Chocks away!!!!
70 years ago the RAF launched a daredevil low flying mission attack on Nazi Germany, this involved a number of Lancaster bomber planes and their brave crews flying at 60 feet and smashing dams with the revolutionary bouncing bomb, invented by Barnes Wallis, eight of the nineteen planes on the mission led by Guy Gibson failed to return.
Yesterday and today to mark the anniversary of the DamBusters there have been several fly pasts involving the spitfire and the Lancaster.
Roo and Bean re create for blipland the brave heros of our RAF, thank you chaps!
