The Tyne Bridges

A few days ago I was cycling under these bridges as I neared the end of a 185 mile and 3 day cross country trip. Today I am speeding across the Tyne on a 3 hour journey from Leeds to Edinburgh.

I t is interesting to contrast the different experience that is "slow" travel compared with modern high speed inter city and international journeys.
