Oh Canada...

It was Canada Life based here rather than the country but either way, it doesn't reflect well on the Canucks!

Life has never been kind to the building. It spent most of the 80's covered in netting as the precast panels disintegrated due to water getting through the concrete and rusting the reinforcement bars, causing huge lumps to fall onto the footpath below.

Now it's sporting a shiny new planning notice, looking for alterations to an existing permission to demolish the five storey eyesore and erect a new seven storey one!
