Percussion concert

The start of the concert, with the last of the 33 percussionists filing on at the back of the stage. The extra shows the stage just before they appeared - rather like an art installation I thought.
The whole concert was part of the exam for the music courses all the players are on, either at upper-secondary school or the town's community college. The standard of playing is amazing. The students at school often (usually) have no previous experience of playing percussion, and the community college students have auditioned to get into that next-level course.
