Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

Garden bouquet.

Well I'm organised. I've been to the dentist, she was so helpful and charged me £2.92! Neither of us is convinced things will last out my trip but at least I'm prepared and know what's important to deal with.
The cases are packed and by the front door. The taxi is booked for, whisper it, 4.20am!
I've got all my papers in my bag including covid ones. I've been taking anti malarials for 2 days. I've got some apple and cheese for mid flight as I find I always want something fruity. My taxi is arranged for the other end, I wonder what I've forgotten hopefully nothing vital. I've got my passport which I think is the main thing, so.....

My blip, I was really pleased to see one of the tete a tete which I planted in the autumn had made it before I leave, along with my ever reliable hellebore Sally's Shell.

I had to go to the bank this afternoon and as it is across the road from the girls' school I went across and said hallo and goodbye to them at after school club. A wee bonus cuddle. Isobel was so excited she was shouting at the top of her voice, 'My grandma is here, she's going to India tomorrow!' The staff at the club know me well and I rightly didn't think they'd mind!
So that's it! This time tomorrow (UK time) I'll be in my hotel room in India. See you on the other side.
