Hillend an Gales Blowing

Gales have been blowing all day. Looks like they'll be blowing for days to come.  It was dry until the late afternoon, never stopped much since. 

Woke up to a beautiful red sky, and it was a sailors warning.  Big Brian came by to finish off the door.  Me and Sammy headed out walkies, and popped by Madeline's for a cuppa.  After lunch, I headed north for a run in the car, for a spot of wave watching.  A poor night of rain.  Both me and Sammy have had a lazy night by the telly.

There was some terrific waves rolling in, but sadly it got rained off, I couldn't be bothered to get wet, and the earth of the wind wasn't good for being at the cliff edges.  You may recognise this house, it featured in the first "Shetland" series, were Magnus Bain lived.  I've probably Blipped it before.  Looking from Hillend, towards a stormy beach, Sandwick, Hillswick.
