Buttermere

Wasn’t feeling up to very much today so we drove over to Buttermere. We wanted to take the bus but the Honister Rambler doesn’t run in winter. 
After lunch at the Croft Farm cafe we walked round Buttermere. There was somewhat subtle light but still beautiful . It was cold and windy on the far side but a bit more sheltered coming back. 
After that we just had to call into the cafe again for coffee/tea and shortbread.
Walked to The Wainwright this evening but had a slightly disappointing pint. A bit over chilled for one thing.
Anyway a good day and I think my cold is starting to abate now.
