The other bit

The building site has a subsidiary part, around the other side of the Biscuit Factory, fronting on to Bonnington Road. It is somewhat behind the part opposite us. They are still finishing the foundations. Anyway, good to record it too for posterity.

Various meetings in the morning, including a couple of sessions with dissertation students, which was good. A great presentation at lunchtime. Fascinating research.

I then spent the afternoon online in a hybrid meeting, so walked home halfway through. I did have to stop at one point to make a contribution to the debate. Proceedings became a bit bad tempered as the afternoon went on, but some side chat kept me sane and amused.
