B and I had an early appointment in an office in a local community hub and decided to have breakfast in their very reasonably-priced café afterwards. After I ordered I found that they only took cash (not enough about my person) or bank transfers via app, which I don't have on my phone. However, they said we could owe them, which was very trusting as we'd never been in before, and gave us a generous and hearty breakfast. I took B home and was on my way straight back with the cash when I spotted Kath Gordon and M on the crossing outside Louie's and Maddie's school which is just around the corner from me. I'm not sure if she recognised it was me hooting at them or just some random crazy woman hooting for no reason.
