For The Birds

It was another beautiful day today - blue skies and not so warm sunshine.  

That made sitting at my computer and taking part in Blablabla meetings even more enjoyable.

I skipped one to run to the supermarket for crunchies and sausages for cats, I also bought some sour cream for my pesto and sour cream sauce as an accompaniment to tonights dinner.  I'm cooking tortellini stuffed with ceps with the sauce.

Form an orderly queue.

"queue" has always intrigued me as a word.  How did we get there?  I suspect it was a bad scrabble hand but with an open Triple Word Score.  No-one challenged when the player said "It means people waiting in line".

I could look it up but I've had enough for today.
