Signs of spring

The garden is beginning to wake up. Bulbs are pushing through and the first flowers are appearing. Birds are singing their hearts out - we had 13 different species visiting yesterday, including a cheeky sparrowhawk which was sitting in the fence long enough to be seen but not long enough to get its photo taken.

Some bad news too this week. Our veteran bunny Lily has been diagnosed with a tumour in her tummy. Our vets are great and we are doing our best for her, but she may not have long. It’s very sad.
