Hiding In Plain Sight

Examining the trunk of a willow tree a little more closely I discovered the head of a farm animal, young bull perhaps? The trunk is quite enormous, possibly 8 feet in diameter. The top of this one has fallen off into the inlet, which has been the subject of many images ('Oh' and 'Heavy Wet' for example), but it is still alive and sprouting new limbs.

There were a few strands of willow in the way and I spent way too long removing them from the image using frequency separation in Photoshop. Nice to have a clean view though.
