Central Park, Plymouth

Did a recce up to Derriford hospital to check where the Royal Eye Infirmary have their surgeries as I will be accompanying Richard to his appointment. They came to talk to me and they will let me stay with him to keep him calm! It could be a five hour wait but I devoutly hope not! That will be happening first thing Monday!

Went to return a book to a friend who is very unwell! She has only one kidney working and that one not very efficiently! She wouldn’t let me into the house to.use the toilet but gave me some leek soup and a couple of crackers with pate on the doorstep!

I walked home from there across Central Park in good weather and warmth from the sunshine! The sky looked a picture as you can see. Went out later with Sian and Ian and the
dogs which was a treat! They have heard that Ian’s bowel operation will be a week tomorrow which is a relief all round! He is obviously not out of the woods yet and pre ops all day tomorrow and a major operation but they are addressing the problem! Very grateful for the NHS up in these circumstances.
