NECSA is the Nuclear Energy Corporation of South Africa power station that employs many people who live in Hartbeespoort. The scientists who work there are hopefully developing better solutions to our power crisis!

We are very lucky to enjoy wonderful views on our way to school. The early mornings are always special as we watch the sun come up. It is difficult getting ready in the dark and cold but once we get on the road we all slowly wake-up and get ready for the day. We flick through the radio channels flitting between talk radio and music. Sometimes we even plug in the iPod when we are desparate for some energy boosting music!
