Red Kite

A little domestic stress at Fi's this morning meant we had to vacate the house for a couple of hours.  Fortunately the weather was stunning - frosty, still, blue skies  so it was a perfect time to take Gerty for a walk round Broughton Park.  We then headed who knows where which involved some very skinny country lanes, fields, farms, lambs and a constant eye on whatever was flying overhead.  This was one of two red kites that put on a fine display circling overhead with their eyes trained on the ground for a snack.  Pretty happy with the images though I'm sure there's still better to come.

Home then to a very cruisey afternoon picking up the pieces after the morning's stress.
