Corbel

I had my first site visit of the year today, it was close to home, to the choir of St Nicholas in Dalkeith. It's the remains of a medieval church attached to the present parish church and its a wee gem.  I particularly liked this face staring down at me from a corbel up on the wall. I met with the minister who was knowledgeable and jolly.  A good visit overall.
