Grange Bridge.
There are a few places called Grange, but this one is in Borrowdale where the bridge crosses the River Derwent and there are a few River Derwents too. The bridge is interesting in itself. It may be considered a pack horse bridge although it is much larger than the usual size. It was on a pack horse route back in the day. I chose this as I hadn't seen sheep at this particular place before and when the second arrived, turned to look at something I took the photo.
Grange is a small village in Borrowdale the start of a few walks/finishes. It is busy in the main tourist period, but today it was peaceful. The main sounds were birds singing and water trickling. A time to think-what shall I photo next?
