A few weeks ago, Younger Son had a go at making a cheese & bacon flan. It didn't turn out very well.
I asked what the problem was... Was the texture wrong, or the flavour? Was it the pastry or the filling?
Elder Son sent a one-word reply: "Yes".
So today, Younger came for a cookery lesson.
