It's a lovely day

We started off today with a lovely meeting with Cat Dean of Canongate Books, where we got a tour of their offices in Edinburgh and had a nice chat about how Cat came to be at Canongate and a blog piece that Mariclaire and I will be writing for them. It was great, and our visit ended with some lovely gifts...books! We, being huge bookworms, were delighted, and we cannot wait to get reading.
After our visit, we went through Bristo Square, where we got to stand in the sunshine for a few minutes and get some free Ben & Jerry's ice cream. Yum!
So, all in all, today's been great so far. :)
