Its the Way It Is

Cafe Letterario GattaNera

Breakfast in a little corner of Italy in the Albert Walk, Bray

Delicious coffee with savoury toasty of salami and Assange (I meant Asiago) cheese. Surrounded by Italian art books, pictures of cats everywhere, shelves of pasta, sauce, coffee and wine and album covers of Pavarotti stuck to the walls and someone called Tito Gobbi. This is a great little place.

And all the time my car is being washed, hoovered, polished by 2 young lads who have just started a new business.

An almost full dunk swim during beautiful sunrise. A walk along the promenade and saw 6 swans doing a fly over the sea.

Such a nice way to spend a morning.

Grateful for owning my own car, living in a great place, having enough bobs to buy breakfast in a cafe and getting my car professionally cleaned. It’s a long long way from what my parents had growing up.
