MonoMonday: "Smooth/rough or uneven"

I took this photo (photobombed by Granddog Oona resting for a moment after chasing her ball!) to fit with Pinkhairedlady's suggested theme of "smooth/rough or uneven" for today's MM challenge. Although the weather has turned somewhat warmer it's still pretty chilly and the snow is taking its time to melt. There are so many footprints in the snow on this field that most of the surface is now rough and uneven - but in the background of the photo, where there's a slope (bearing shadows of trees) it's much smoother - partly because folks have been sledging down the slope.
