Burst pipe...

Late last night we lost water in the main house....it was around 11.30 pm, dark and cold outside, so Terry decided to wait till morning to investigate!  And yes, upon inspection, worse case scenario.....the ground floor of the Chalet cabin was flooded, with about 2" of water - so into action we went.   I headed down to the village to get another plastic shovel....and by the time we got back the water had actually dripped down thro cracks etc., and who knows what it is like on the underneath!!!   we managed to soak up the top layer of water, and of course the damn mop gave out half way thro!   I resorted to pushing towels around the floor!   So now there are 4 heaters going, a fan etc., and hopefully things will dry out over the next couple of days.   Terry is still working on repairing the pipe as i type this....he's been at it for a few hours already!

Oh well, it could have been worse !   and at least now we'll have nice clear floors for the next guest :)
