Slateford Green Housing Development, Gorgie

I pass this Dunedin Canmore Housing Association development on the way to bowls and often when out running.  The 120 flat development was completed in 2000 after a design competition for a car free urban village.  It's one of the most sustainable and energy efficient schemes in Edinburgh and their heating system uses waste from a local distillery.
