Perfect swimming conditions today for our swim at Motueka Beach.

Recently I uploaded a Blip standing on this same path facing towards Jackett Island and the channel to the wharf and the marina.
Today I am facing the opposite direction and you can see the saltwater baths. This area is tidal so the pool is necessary for all day swimming, but we prefer to work with the tides and swim from the beach.


The 6th of February is Waitangi Day, the national day of New Zealand. It commemorates the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi, New Zealand’s founding document.
