Lanterns at the Banff Springs

This is another location for the lessons at the Banff Springs. We talk about using the zoom to exaggerate the depth of field, leading lines, avoiding the pipe that is in the distance and putting the lantern into the corner to form a natural frame. This is also a favorite location to show off the castle-like architecture in portraits. Depending on where the sun is there is another similar spot right behind this one where you get more brick and a few lanterns in the shot.
