A pot of gold over the Farm

Yeah right.

I went outdoors, on this very wet and cold day, to get another log to put on the fire, when I noticed this very prominent rainbow providing a spectacular display right over the farm. I forgot about the wood, quickly ran inside, grabbed my camera, changed lens, and rushed out into the paddock, in the rain I might add, and took lots of photo's. The rainbow was so low and long, that it was very hard to get a photo from end to end - but I like this one covering some of our farm buildings.

The weekend is here - although for most of New Zealand is it going to be a very wet one. A perfect excuse to stay inside beside the fire and relax.......if only!
