Red Kite

As it was a crisp clear day and I had nothing in mind to do in studio I thought id take the Z50 and 600mm out for a walk to get some little birdies. Only the field at the bottom of my estate , about five mins walk and after not getting much I decided to head home and turned the corner to this Beauty right low. Panic stations!!! The bloody camera wouldn't focus on it and the bird had hit a thermal and was on the rise very quickly. 
I ran a bit further down the field to avoid most of the branches in my way and I hoped rather than expected to get the odd one in focus, and as I was flicking through the shots taken Id cut off wings and heads ....but then I found 3 images that were sharp! Phew!!!
This was the one. I was very chuffed as its my first Red Kite.
I've also got the Moon but I put a lot up so you probably won't be bothered about seeing it.
