The Waiting Game

Collecting dust and battered around the edges, these suitcases from a bygone age lay waiting patiently. Not for the passengers of the day who frequented the steaming beasts that once arrived at Tenterden Station.
Instead they wait for excited children, train enthusiasts, amateur photographers and tourists from around the world.

But today the station remains closed; the trains are out of sight save for a few carriages  standing idle at the platform purely to set the scene. There are no loud hoots to accompany billowing steam, no waiting at the crossing, hoping to see the trains lumber past. All is peaceful and still. But the luggage continues to wait patiently for all that to change. And it will, soon, just not today.
