Micro Photography
It’s not a bird. Or a plane.
I once went up in a microlight, the pilot being the friend of a friend. As we took off, he shouted ‘keep an eye out for low flying jets, they’re on you before you hear them’. It didn’t get much better when after landing in a field (so he could have a fag), he suddenly jumped up shouting that he could hear thunder and we needed to get back in the air. Really? We circled above the (then derelict) tower at Lowther Castle. It was actually pretty stunning and kept my mind off the distant rumbles. Then he switched off the engine and we glided down across the motorway. An experience never to be forgotten.
Nice walk with the family today, and lunch at the pub.
