Not Posh.
I believe the term for this type of photography is 'Contre - Jour', but I'm not posh so will call it shooting into the light, or backlit!
Decided to take out my little used Panasonic camera on my dog walk this morning, I really don't know how to use it, and with the bright light I just took a chance. It's a bit messy because I couldn't see the screen (or work the camera lol) so, with a little help from LR and Topaz, this is what I got.
Funny day. Lots needed doing, which I did manage. But it was sunny, so lots of neighbours out and about, all very interested in what we were doing with the extension, so it turned out to be a day of socialising, chatting and apologising in advance on our part!
After yesterdays sad news I am adding an extra of another from the litter, a more uplifting story. I have featured Libby before. She went to Holland and lives the most wonderful, fit life ever. She spends most of her time climbing in the mountains (not in Holland!) This is the good part of breeding dogs, getting images like this constantly.
Daughter number 2 leading a school trip to Auschwitz - Birkenau this weekend. 45 children, 13/14 years old and 5 staff. One of the pupils has Tourette's syndrome, so I believe a 121 adult/ student. Don't think I'd want to do this trip, but I admire, and am very proud of how strongly she feels that the horrors should be kept alive. I find this whole episode of history so horrific I can't really cope with it.
