Getting the best view

A cold morning with a heavy frost, but the sun soon came out to make for a lovely afternoon.

The sky was full of colour as the sun was setting. The best place to see this from the house is from Gordon's room, but of course at the time he was quite oblivious - eyes on the screen. I went outside and took this. More dramatic later but the birds were no longer as obliging!  They had had the best view, but were bored by then.
