Sunset

Edit:  shortly after blipping, I looked out of the front window and noticed the sky was looking quite dramatic as the sun set.  I nipped out onto the street to take a phone picture, and one of the neighbours (also snapping with his phone) pointed out that it was even better behind me!  I grabbed the camera, which still had the long lens on, and so we have a very colourful blip!  The original, not very exciting blip image is relegated to an extra!

A busy day with a morning of domestic chores and then a quick walk around the loopline.  An afternoon filling the green waste bin with leaves from the lawn - and a couple of brews with friends who popped round.  I wanted to test out the new to me lens I bought earlier in the week - but was rapidly running out of daylight.  A few random shots to test focus and handling - but no birds came in whilst I was waiting.
