Rotten tree

T cleared the farm of several rotting trees in the hedgerows a couple of years ago and the the trunks and branches have been piled up behind the house providing homes in their gaping holes for birds and probably rats and smaller rodents. Now the heap is being dismantled slowly by chainsaw into logs for fuel.  

A good day for getting outside, the sun giving us some welcome respite from the wintry weather.
