Out of the Hive

A good start to the day-Its beautiful and sunny with a wee touch of ice on the canal path.
We started with a run, its exciting to find that I feel able to extend the length of our runs now ( Its not an extension for A, but I am glad of his company on the weekend runs).  The fine weather had brought everyone out even at quite an early hour for a Sunday, which was good to see.
As I was doing wee jobs in the street such as recycling, I noticed a loud buzzing sound coming from a neighbours winter flowering honeysuckle.  This is a very lovely plant and an important plant for early pollinators.  Bees need the temperature to be over 12 degrees before they leave the hive, so that must be the temperature that the street has reached today.
