Gluttony

Being a glutton for punishment it was back to Tynecastle this afternoon, joined by a post-Covid JacktheLad and unexpectedly by DougM who’d snagged a ticket right in front of us. Poor guy, suffered through an hour of unadulterated rubbish (J and me are a bit more immured) even with our bottom-of-the-league opponents reduced to ten men early on. But then a couple of substitutes brought a sense of urgency with them and before you know it the Jambos were in the lead. And right before the final whistle we’d a wonder goal, scored from 60 yards no less. Think that game could safely be classed as an emotional rollercoaster!
Oh and I must mention the Scotland rugby team who scored a fantastic win at Twickenham a while later. Watched the highlights with a big grin on my face!
