Pacific Ocean Sunset

The one you’ve been waiting for. One without family in it and one of the best natural phenomena of Southern California. It was a pretty good one at that.

Another very fine day which started with watching Landon in his soccer class. He scored a goal which was pure joy to watch. The extra of the class playing buffalo.

From soccer we went over to Chris and Carly’s for lunch then drove down to Moonlight Beach in Encinitas with Madison. Landon played on the swings then had a great time walking, hopping, jumping and running along the beach

We ended up at Swamis Beach, climbing 145 steps to get to the top of the cliffs where we watched the sun set to the laid back music of Bob Dylan’s All Along the Watch Tower played by a group of musicians just having fun. What could be better than watching the sun set and listening to music. So SoCal.

Encinitas town strip was buzzing with busy restaurants and bright lights as we walked back to the car. An uplifting experience with Landon playing all sorts of running, jumping and hopping games on the way back.

Chris cooked an excellent dinner, Madison was really content all day. It was a lovely day out with them all.
